Traveling to FL on July 19 - 25 need some suggestions

Hello All,

My GF and I are going to take a road trip from PA down to FL with our skis and I am looking for some suggestions on where to go. I have been to FL a few times before but never with my skis. I have been to siesta key a few times and once down to the key's. I loved the beaches at Siesta Key and the snorkeling/lobstering down in the keys but not really sure where to go with the skis. Any suggestions or must see places would be appreciated.

How far down in Florida are you planning to go? There are plenty of great places to ride all across Florida so it really depends what part you are looking to visit.

I will be down there the 22nd thru the 30th. Will be in the Clearwater area. Went back in the spring for Jims ride and loved it.

Planning to check out Crystal River and Three Sisters Springs while we are down there. Looks awesome!

It is hard to beat the panhandle, I live in Panama city beach and there is some great riding around here, however me and the wife are also going to be going on a ski-vacation the week of 19th and are going around the keys.. It's about a 12 hour drive. Check out google earth (satellite view) and pwc trail finder as there are some great trips posted there.

Do a little research about PWC laws around the keys. Unless its changed, the only area on the north side of the islands that allows PWCs is the Intracoastal. You cant do much riding around the little islands and shallow areas on the north side.
