    Replacing 215hp SCIC with an external intercooler

    Hi, would there be any significant gains if the intercooler within the intake is removed capped and replaced with an external intercooler on a 215hp rotax? I'm guessing that the existing cold water hoses can be extended to the external intercooler and a pair of new hoses for the supercharger. I guess a 4 inch intake would help as well? Thanks

    no idea of gains but external cooler is way better cooling and also air intake! just getting it ready for bigger charger down the road

    you may not see any gains on a stock 215
    different story using a bigger SC
    you actually may will shorten the hoses because the stock IC is way up front
    lots of small mods do add up to some good gains
