FX Cruiser SHO 2009 Turbo Build Problem

    Hi All,
    We have bought a turbo kit from H2o xtreme and finished our installation. Our kit includes;

    Precision turbo
    Intercooler
Tail 38mm MVR westgate (watercooled) with 22 psi spring
    320 lph AEM fuel pump
    fuel regulator
    AEM wideband afr gauge
    Autometer boos gauge
    3 bar map sensor
    HKS bov
    1000cc injector dynamics ID1000
    Wiseco pistons
    Molnar rod set
    Dual valve spring set
    Iridium ngk spark plugs
Reflashed ECU unit (reflashed by H2o Xtreme)
    18/30 honda style prop
    Riva intake grate
    Riva ride plate
    155mm housing

We have just finished our complete installation however the engine immediately stalls down. Our AFR gauge shows generally lean ratios (between 15-17:1 at idle rpm). We have adjusted our fuel pressure starting from 60pounds and increased it up to 80 pounds. however the fuel pressure does not have any effect on our engine stall. What could be possible reasons of our problem? Before the 3bar map sensor and 1000cc injectors installation, i had no problem. we have tried it both in land and water. it does not change. I have tried to make a connection to ECU unit with Yamaha 1.33 yamaha diagnostic tool, however i could not. I need you guys help as soon as possible.
    Thank you very much.

U r running a 3 bar map sensor with a reflashed ecu that could be the problem. Next is I didn't know h20 extreme even reflashed ecus. You need to go back to the stock map sensor and send the ecu to r&d and get one of there turbo tunes

We have reflashed our stock ECU with a turbo Tune (stage3) by the help of H2o extreme (Ramon). Altough our pwc is 2009, we are running it with 2014 ECU unit (the oem part number starts with 6ev-00). Could it be the possible problem?

Yes that could be very much a problem I know u can run the older ecu on the 2014 boat but never heard if u could run the 2014 on the older model. If I where u and I was going to run a reflash instead of a standalone I would defiantly consider talking with bill or Glenn at r&d they have turbo maps already developed. Ray use to run one of there maps in a gpsho conversion and the ski was doing over 100mph. And there is a few reflashed turbo fzr doing 98-99mph. I have never heard a word about a reflashed ecu from Ramon. And honestly don't know how much I would trust it anyways. The thing that really strikes me as a problem is running the 3bar map sensor with the reflash. Try putting the stock map sensor back in and see what happens

There is no way to exactly tell u the fuel pressure u will be running because of the tune all skis r different. If I had to guess I would start at 45 lbs and go from there

    Hey Kaansanver,

I would really go with Yol's suggestion to contact R&D about one of their Turbo flashes for the correct ECU. Seems as though they may be a go with the 3 bar/IDI 1000's setup you already have.

    O.E.M. Ignition Turbo Re-Programming/Tuning for 2009-2013 ECU’s
R&D offers Turbo Ignition Tunes for the OEM ECU that work absolutely perfect at a very reasonable cost. There’s no need for an expensive aftermarket ignition system. R&D ECU Programs have won many Championships over the past 4 years in all Pro Stock, Pro Limited, and Open classes. Try an R&D Reprogrammed ECU! You will have the trophy, and your wallet will than you! Upon request R&D will also provide a tune for MoTeC ECU’s. Call for specifics and pricing.
Note: All R&D 3 bar Turbo Tunes require the R&D 340 fuel pump, R&D 1000cc injector kit, and R&D 3 Bar map sensor kit.
