I've seen worse, especially on the stinger end of the exhaust which usually have to be replaced. A wire wheel or abrasive disk on a air rotary tool will clean things up quickly. New piston rings on the end wouldn't be a bad idea seeings how you have it apart.

Really clean the end off, wire brush it, spray it with brake cleaner, let it dry, then poke it with a pic. If you have any holes theu can be fixed/remedied now, if not you have more repairs after you reinstall it.

After a really close inspection ( pic #3) I noticed that it was pitted inside ...look kinda bad. Anyways, took It to a shop and they re-did the whole piece for $85 ... Now hopefully, I don't have to worry about that for a long time...getting the water box back in place was a royal pain in the scrotum... Thank u guys for ur help
and yes...I did clean the whole thing

When the stinger end of the exhaust pipe corrodes & leaks, does it leak outside or inside the pipe, & if it leaking to the inside could this cause a small drop in RPMS?

Is this a salt water ski? Might be an obvious question but I live no where near salt water and never looked into a salt water ski before
