    Fire in the hole

I had my RXT-X exhaust burst and start some of the rubber tubing on fire. I got the fire out quickly, but it looks like a few hoses are burned up. No visible damage was done to the exterior of the ski. While pulling it back to shore it filled up considerably with water. I have marks on the inside where the residue from fire extinguishers which cam up to right under the plastic engine cover. I am not sure what that means for the long-term condition of the ski and what insurance will do with it if I file a claim.

    Thoughts?

Tell them it caught fire and sank. (All true it sounds like) pretty good reason to total it out to me.
