Already Starting!! GTR 215

Well when i got home tonight, i figured i might as well work on the new ski! Figured id do the one mod everyone should do!!

SPONSONS!!

Took me a little as the way sponsons fasten to this hull is alot diff than my 05 RXP, didn't know i was gonna have to get down in there to hold a nut. Honestly not sure if i like the fact that everything is with a nut and bolt that fastens. These fit like a glove though and look alot better than the factory ones!!

nice man! i was looking at the worx sponsons a while back. i have my GTR for salw right now but if it doesnt sell i may end up doing a set of sponsons.

how much of a pain was it to reach down there to get the nut?

It felt like a pain in the ass. Probably because i wasn't expecting to have to do that. Thought they were gonna bolt up like on my 05 RXP. Seems like everything that fastens to this hull is held on with a nut/bolt... EHH

Id say about 1.5-1.75 hours. Being you have to remove part of the exhaust to reach the right hand side sponson nuts. Then to make sure everything is put back together nice and tight.

I was also interrupted for a little as i had someone come look at a car i was selling. So didnt get exact amount of time.

But it was terrible terrible! lol

HAHAHAH not to bad. when i was looking at them the thing i liked about the worx ones was it was supposed to be a direct bolt on. now if thats true i dont know. i figured with those remove the stock, replace and be done.

There bolt on, just gotta do a little more work to get them on. The holes all line up and everything!
