Tuned with vtech and slowed down ????

My brother in law brought his bone stock rxt to the beach house and asked me to tune it. Was at 67-69 mph and 8000 rpm. Tuned with 8375 tune and slowed to 66 mph and 7800 MAX! What gives ???

No. Bone stock ski. Didn't expect to slow it down.

Think most of the tunes are made for skis with mods....intake, exhuast and such. Might be it's to rich and causing it to slow. Unless your using the stock tune with limiters removed then it wouldn't make sence and something is wrong. I know people that have used the stock tune limiters removed and it's definitely noticeable even vs a socom

A basic vtech tune on a 100% bone stock ski will wake it up a good bit and air filter and such are completely optional.

His ski has issues or you didn't complete the tune properly. Try reflashing it again.

Since you have a data logger, connect it to the ski and monitor "pedal position" and "throttle" to see if there are discrepancies (during a wot run). They should be practically the same.

Yea My 8350 tune went 72 at 7880 with a 15-20 SRZ. So IMO the tune didn't take correctly. But I will say they did infact lower the timing to please everyone.

How do I do the stock tune with limiters removed ? Just want to try see if some thing is different. I'll try reflashing as well.
