Stay safe out these guys, I had a close call yesterday smacking my knee after hitting a wake at 45* at 70mph+

I've visited UAE back in 2000. Beautiful country! If it wasn't so damn expensive to get there, I'd take all my vacations there!

I wear my Leatt Brace and my Shoei MX helmet now that my ski is over the 70 mark. Because I ride primarily in the ocean, there is always water that is moving in ways that are hard to keep the ski stable at that speed.

I plan on wearing my motorcycle helmet this summer, and buying a good neck guard too. I own an Icon street bike helmet when I had a Kawasaki ZX-12R...I need to get a new wetsuit, don't want any water going up my butt!

Dad and I are re-doing my GPR entirely, 1390 kit, gas valves, pump reinforcement and pressure relief, reinforcing intake/ride plate/trim tab bolts, free flow exhaust, the works. I am hoping to get around 80mph with the setup...I think I could get more out of it but don't want to push the compression or sacrifice holeshot for top end. Our lake is full of RXTs, SHOs, and other 4 strokers, not many if any gearheads that mod them...mostly richy-rich types that buy the fastest stock ski they can get. So 75 with great holeshot will easily beat the fastest stock skis...but I want the extra 5 mph in case I run across a modded ski. I'll definitely get some odd looks running with a helmet on, but the Baja/Crownline boat owners will understand when I pass them (my lake is about 4 miles long, we're not talking twin engine 42' Cigarette types, more like 24' single engines w 454s)

Winter breather box is great for New York early spring and late fall riding.
