717 motor swap
I have a 2001 Seadoo GTI with a 717 motor that seems to have seized. I have a parts ski, 97 GSI with a 717 single carb and looking at the manuals and comparing motors they look almost identical. The only differences I see are jetting and the 2001 has an accelerator pump. My question is am I ok to swap engines and use the carb and electronics from the 2001?

You can swap engines but use the old carb set up without the crap accel pump
