Did Skat Trak make Polaris branded impellers?
Was Skat Trak ever the oem for impellers beariing the Polaris branding? I picked up a new 2871881 impeller that I found out is a 16/21 and recommended for sltx and other 1050 models for high elevation operation. I don't believe they used this as a factory installed part on any models but correct me if mistaken.
Looks awfully similar to the swirl skat trak design with only minor difference to the trailing edge.
Anyone ever run this 881 impeller?

Skat Trak did make impellers for Polaris OEM. These have an o-ring seal tucked inside the impeller nose.
Non-Skat impellers have the tapered 'nose cone' rubber seal around the driveshaft at the impeller.

Skat-Trak made most of the impellers until the late 90's, then Nujet was making them for Polaris. I remember purchasing a Skat-Trak for my '96 SLTX in 97 & at that time the rep from Skat I was purchasing from said they made all Polaris impellers up to that time, the only difference between the ones they sold to the public & the OEM is that the OEM were made to Polaris's specs. All the Skat impellers I dealt with used the O ring in the nose setup, the Nujets use a rubber nose cone. I have experimented with a rubber nose cone on a Skat-Trak, if you have the right one it can be use on the short nose impellers & the smaller diameter driveshafts.

Here's a couple pictures of the impellers I have to work with in addition to the stock 785 impeller. These will be the starting point for my 1200 conversion project and dial in from there. As you can see from the pictures below, it is very hard to tell any discernable difference in the hub design. Both appear to use a fat O-ring as the seal.
First one is the swirl 881 (16/21) Polaris mentioned above.
Second photo is of a Skat-Trak 12/20 Super Slim Line (not sure where this came from as even Skat-Trak didn't recognize this part)
