Removing mirrors on 2014 FX SVHO?

Anyone have any pics of their newer style FX with mirrors removed? I would like to remove mine but before going through the trouble of doing so I want to see if anyone has done it and the outcome.

It's only 3 bolts each side... Leaves a huge gap in there like something is missing. Wish someone could come out with a block off. Been trying to create my own.

Ok. Looking at it that is what i thought. I am sure someone that is good at fabrication, like someone that makes the custom rear seats could come up with something... May take cutting up the OEM mirror pods though. Hmmm.

Thanks! Looks like you vented the hood and painted the chrome. Looks good and was another couple of things I was looking to eventually do.

Yea I used plasti dip since I wasn't sure I'd like it.. But looks good on the gray hood.

They made mirror block offs for the older FX. Hmmm.... I came across these few pics of the mirrors removed. Looks like the one guy had some kind of block off made. Looks like just removing them isn't really an option. As someone else stated looks like something is missing. It is ok for race ski, but not the look I am going for.
