Seems like a good deal to me. Did you get a quote on a '15 model just for comparison?

I did not as I thought it would be much more.

Have them break out the cost between the boat and the trailer. Then shop each component quickly to do a price check. Keep in mind your boat is already a year old...so the price from the dealer should reflect that.
Good luck and keep us posted.

That's actually the price I started with to figure out my calculations:
10,500
after sales tax 11,128
plus cover and trailer 1,200
About $12,300. So I guess I could have some movement.
Plus I learned that sales tax for me will be "only" 2.2% so I'm going to respond with about a $12k offer.

So here's the final deal I'm looking at. I'm in the northeast so prices seem a bit stiffer. I've backed into the deal based on the info I have and:
FX HO $11,099
title/doc 200
Cover 200 (genuine Yamaha)
Trailer 800 (Load-rite WV1200BZTS)
Sales tax 266
Total $12,565
Based on prices in the southern states of $10,499, it seems like my price is about $500 too high. What to do? Other goodies (we will use it stock). I do need a dock...

You need the extra power to haul passengers and tow with.
