    Fuel gauge flashing

Just wondering if anyone here has had an issue with their fuel gauge. My 2004 RXP has a warning for low fuel level, even when there is about 3/4 of a tank of fuel in it, and the fuel level gauge is flashing, but at about the right level of fuel in it. I've checked the connectors to the tank, and the connectors to the gauge, and all the fuses. No luck. I've checked for threads about fuel gauge problems but it appears there isn't much information about this issue.

Did you ever figure this out. My 2009 Wake Pro has an erratic reading. It changed daily up until yesterday. Now it's stuck on low fuel (even though I filled it to the top) and the incessant beeping/warning drives a person insane while riding it. The original owner had it in last month for the same thing. The dealer replaced the fuel pump, stating that the sending unit was bent, but that apparently didn't fix it. I guess the fuel pump has the sending unit as part of it? Ideas appreciated.

you will need to remove fuel pump and inspect the float gauge
broken or missing float or just a bad sending unit

Thanks Chris. The dealer shows that they tested the ski with different levels of fuel and noted problems. They then removed fuel pump and found fuel pump assy bent 90 degrees. If the dealer's invoice shows "replaced fuel pump assy" would that include the sending unit and/or the float, or would they just reuse those from the original fuel pump assy?

Roger that, thanks. I'll take it back. It's still under the 90 day warranty for the repair. Maybe they damaged the new one while installing it.
