    Need help to select map tuner..please

    Can I use vtech injector and 8350 map with the stock retainer and supercharger??

    yes the vt1100 injectors will be fine with a stock SC
    and the 8350 is about max for stock valve train
    every ski available tunes that I have seen had a few different tunes using the vt1100s

    my plan is to run 8650 map with the vt1100 injectors..i will drop my rpm to 8400 to be safe installing the extra spacer for my lucky 13 cone..what do you think.???

    over a wave... and the motor revs to the limiter
    8650 I bet will get well over 9000

    got it..but like i said i will install the spacer for the lucky 13 to drop the rpm to 8450 or 8400..right or wrong??

    On most vtech tunes the hard limiter is 600rpm higher than soft limiter (tune).

    Be cautious if you are running stock retainers. IMO, Ti retainers are manditory. Think of it as a one-time insurance plan. The consequences without that...insurance is VERY costly!

    thanks guys..so if i do the retainer i will be safe on 8650-stock SC and VT110 injectors??

    Technically, the retainers will then be good to 10K. However, the next thing to worry about are the stock flywheel bolts. See, this is how they all start. Next thing you know you are shopping for an 88mm turbo.
