3 Years of problem, 2004 Virage not solved :(

There are 2 problems, and I cant solve it about 3 years

One is cold start. Two is, I have to pump many times the throttle to accelerate the pwc.
At the first start I pump twice and the jet starts on idle then it stops, then no start again and if I give little throttle it gets choked, and I need to start 6-7 times to get the idle again .. When I want to accelerate it stops again, if I dont pump the throttle many times it stops again.

I have changed the full carb rebuid kit twice, also new accelerator pump kit (one year ago)
, new spark plugs, checked all hoses also starter selonoid change and nothing change. At last I replace new battery and same again and again.

The strange thing is, when I ride about half an hour, everything seems fine, and the jet starts at first start and no need to pump severel times to accelerate the pwc.

My pwc is 167 hours domestic red engine single carb mikuni cdk II with acc pump.

Thanks for your time to answer.

Let me begin by saying that it is important to not assume there is ony one problem. It is possible there is two or more problems happening at the same time.

Also do not assume the carburetor is the only problem. It may seem obvious that the problems are caused by the carburetor but there may be other things that are making the problem worse.

Set aside the carburetor for a moment. What else has been checked on this engine?

Have you removed and inspected the intake reeds?

Have you checked the ignition system?
Measured ohms on the spark plug wires, ignition coils, stator coils?
    Checked the Hall Effect sensors?

Check the static ignition timing with engine off, or check the running ignition timing at 3000 RPM.

    Correct spark plugs installed?

What is the compression on each cylinder? Report these numbers here please.

Does the engine run differently if the seat is removed?

This is a carburetor engine so there is no EMM

I did not checked it all, but my spark plug is the correct one, I think I dont have Hall Effect sensor? never inspect in my Virage.
I want help from a technician to measure the compresion, ohms, timing etc, because I dont have the tools.

My virage works same when the seat is removed, but more loudly.

I will put a video to my problem tommarow , maybe it helps us to solve the problem.

If the technician is not familiar with Polaris carburetor watercraft engines then he will need to do some reading. That information is mostly available from my signature links, and in the technical sections of this Greenhulk Polaris forum.

All Polaris red carburetor engines have Hall Effect sensors. They are located inside the magneto stator assembly at the front of the engine. They are used to trigger the spark on each cylinder and are tested using a 9 volt battery and ohm meter.

Yes I have copied service manual to help us, but I dont know how we can check the reeds, thats too much work to inspect, but I will go on it
Also I didnt find a new acceleration pump on net, I have visit 2 sites and e-mail them but couldnt get a reply, the techincian says it will be better to replace it again
It will be helpfull to know who sells the acc pump, google couldnt find ?
