    Insurance mind blower

$1800 quote to insure my machine because it's a brand new 2015 RXTX. Yes, $1800. And this was after sitting in the agent's office and they had two computer screens and called the carrier and was quoted around $300. So I moved on. Paid $700 elsewhere which is still a little high but I wanted to get it over with. I may have fallen off the turnip truck but I didn't fall off yesterday.

$0 for me, I don't insure it. $90 Trailer annual insurance covers for if it comes of the hitch and crashes into something.

All this discussion is totally meaningless, because every state has different rates, and just because one vendor is cheaper in one state doesn't mean it will be cheaper in your state.

^^^^ What he said along with Driving record, Age, Garaging location, Use, etc etc.
So many variables go into insurance rating these days. It used to be so simple.....

I pay $434.00 per year with Progressive for Both my 2006 RXT 215's and my 24' Pontoon. This includes high liability limits, $250 ded. and a few other inexpensive bells and whistles.
