Going to try to align my engine today. any tips , trick or procedures out here?

picked up a alignment tool kit, unfortunately it just came with the plate setup.. not sure if they forgot to mail me the rest... got the plate on , got the rod through, (luckily had some .875 bar stock ) but looks like i need to machine the adapter that goes through the pto.... can someone chime in and let me know what the dimensions are for the od as wll as length?

also im having a hard time finding out the part number for the oil seal that goes into the pto cover.

you also must set the motor to prop length
so the part that goes in the pto must be very close to the one brp makes
I would send back the parts and get the full set of tools

I have a question on this also. When aligning the motor does the rod with the adapter slide in to the pto or does the adapter stay in the pto and the rod slides into that

the adapter stays in the pto (keeps oil in the motor)

i got everything machined out, i just took the dimensions off the drive shaft, front to back should be good as ive been driving the ski for 150 hours since i put the motor back in with 0 issues other than uneven wear on the carbon seal. the motor is def shifted to the right by a good amount though. i never removed the motor mounts just the engine.

also im assuming 11 and 9 are the oil and stop seal i need correct?

i already have those parts , i needed the stop seal that goes onto drive shaft , and seal that is inside the pto cover that the bellow attaches too. .
