    Low boost. Has me stumped.

06 rxp with 2rude. Early last year I was seeing around 14+psi at 8400. Then it dropped off to 12.5 at that rpm mid last year. Figure it was the heat but numbers didn't change over the winter. Turning 8600 now and it's still only at 12.5 psi or so. Checked for boost leaks didn't find any. Just pressure tested the intake manifold @15psi no leaks/cracks there. Needless to say I'm out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry. Should have said that. That was one of the first things I checked. Slip has been checked Every 20hrs or so and is at 187 in lbs currently. 15hrs since last full rebuild.

Speed still good? Just wondering if maybe your ski is fine and maybe you got a tiny bit of debris into the boost line/boost gauge?

You could always do a boost leak test we do it on turbo cars all the time. We use a pvc cap with a shrader valve on it and compress the intake track and use soapy water to look for leaks. I would try that and see if you can't narrow down your issue

I do the same, works great. Install it on the SC inlet, clamp it good, put 6-10 psi in there and you will definitely find any leaks. Soapy water and/or just listen for hissing in a very quiet place.

Speed is way down as well. Only runing 76ish. Was running 81 with less mods than it has now.

I get the idea of the pressure test your suggesting but how did you clamp off the SC inlet with a pvc pipe? Confused on that part.

    Ahh cool, thanks.

Is there anything else it could be? Something I missed?
