    Rxpx real horsepower

Has anyone seen or done a dyno on a rxpx 255? Im curious as to what the real horsepower is compared to what the ski is rated.

with the limiters removed and a few mods, using stock SC it should be over 260

Stock RXP-X 260 is about 230 in the "real world" out there...

Is 230 taken when the motor is at 60% throttle, and 67 MPH and 8050 RPM? Or at 100% throttle at 63 MPH and 8150 RPM? That is the 2 modes of the stock ski.

it's 255 where ever they did their controlled runs of multiple engines, whatever season (probably winter) it was tested in whatever environment(probably a dry room with close to no humidity).

Whittlebeast did have a calculation to work out hp, something like, boost psi x rpm x a magic number. Andy???!!

    I use this

    [MAP]*[RPM]/5150

It is just a guess assuming that the 166 MAP and 8050 RPM that the stock ski was doing at WOT was really 260 HP. It is just a guess. That formula is only good for a Seadoo 1500 blower motor. The 5150 number would be different for every basic motor configuration.

Can't u figure out power from injector duty (factor in fuel pressure and boost)?
    Probably factor in afr also?

you can generally figure out power from fuel consumption
