DW can read intake temp and o2 sensor voltage. Could a wideband sensor be intstalled in place of the stock narrowband? Also I believe desperado described the equipment he used, I'll have to see if I can find it. Edit: equipment is described in the first post of the desperado sticky:

Now the million dollar question! Can you move the redline to 8800? PLEASE!!!!

Try to give us a graph of the timing and rpm.

Haha it is running 10.6:1 at wot. No wonder it has no power! Down 20% on torque up top because it's to rich up top. No one tunes this rich? Wtf? Not at 30psi boost would I run it that rich. It would grab 200-300 more rpm by bringing the afr up to 11.8:1 at wot

So I guess you didn't read that sticky from 2009 before? Lol. Hopefully krammer can continue the excellent progress and you can then tune to your heart's content. And quickly remove your engine if you push it too far, lol.

I had never looked at the first post. For the life of me I can't think what the tuners were thinking from polaris and or weber. Seen a lot of tunes and never seen one run richer than 11.6:1 under full load and boost unless it was a different fuel. 10.6 is flooding it and 12.6 would be on the edge of to lean.

Cant wait to see if he can move the redline to 8600 or even 8800 and bring the afr up to 11.6:1 at wot and allow for 20psi boost. That's my laundry list. This would be a tune for those with upgraded turbos and valve train and who want there weber to stomp ass.

Krammer, I would include some financial motivation if you want my ecu to try on, once you are at that point. Let me know and I will send one to you and include the cash.

I just need more time for investigation on these ecu's . the redline we can move it for sure to 8600 8800 but we need to make sure that we dont blow up the engine . Regarding ecu' s , i allready have three pieces to work on them . Hopefully we will get some nice results.

The snow sled uses a 8800 rpm redline so it should be fine. Also mine has Ti springs and retainers rated to over 9100 rpm.

For my purposes blowing the engine is not a worry unless we get the timing to aggressive down low, so we should be fine.

For stock skis I would not push it past the precision tune at 17psi and keep the rpm under 8200. For the afr I would want to pull another 10% or more fuel up top, get it around 11.6-11.8 These are my thoughts but I think others on the forum with more experience with tuning would have better advice.

If i can have a map file from this snow sleeds , it will be very good for me . Do you know what ecu is used in snow sleds?
