    Hole in exhaust chamber?!

Hi guys , I'm new here and plan to learn a lot. right now I have a 02 STXR 1200 with 120hrs and a pin hole in the exhaust chamber. When I run the ski with the hose hooked up water is spewing out constant. I assume this isn't normal but can anyone speak of this or have heard of this happening.

I have attached a photo of the water coming out in the bottom left

Probably a thin spot in the casting. Pull it off and take a look. You might be able to repair it by welding, but the damaged area is probably too large. You might pick up an expansion chamber on Ebay or something.

Was this machine from a northern state. May not have been winterized correctly and water froze in the expansion chamber and cracked the pipe. So you need to find a replacement.

Also front spark plug wire is not on all the way, and the front cylinder pisser connection is facing the rear of the ski, I thought he pisser was starboard front.

Did you put the 120 hrs on it or you bought it with 120 hrs.

I have only put 5 hours on it. Previous owner for 5 years was a friend. As far as we know it has never been rebuilt. What do you guys think about that time?

Crack or corrison, really only two options. Pull the pipe off and inspect. You can find those pipes on ebay all day for a pretty decent price.
