2015 RXPX Poor performance
I have a 2015 RXPX that I purchased this spring. I am aware of the break in period. It now has 10 hrs on it. At about 6 hrs I was able to achieve the max RPM 8040 for a couple of runs. I am no longer able to hit the limiters at all! Max speed is 63 -64 and RPMs about 7850. What really eats my ass is that I had several buddys at my cabin this weekend, all on older stock 215 horse skis. A couple of these are poorly maintained and filthy!! Guess who had the slowest ski all weekend (not good for my ego). Any ideas?

sounds like a loose boost hose
or even worse a blown/leaking intercooler
if its not those then check the SC clutch slip
are you sure you have good gas?

Its empty now, I am riding tomorrow. I will fill it with fresh 93. It had 93 octane for all those hours but it was purchased at marinas on the river, maybe old. If forced to run 87 octane will the ski perform as stated above?

Boost leak is pretty common. Sometimes just a loose clamp. Grab all the SC hoses and see if you can pul one off.
The intercoolers are better, but stll not great.
I would lean towards SC slip. Both of my X skis, I had to rest the slip at around 15-20 hours. They have been good after that.

What are the water, and air temps where you are? 7850 rpm give or take a little can be normal if its really heat soaked.

Get under the ski and see if you've damaged the impeller. Or check the spark plugs.

Water temp was 72 air temp low 80's. I don't think that was the issue. I will check impeller

Check those hoses for sure. I'd also check and make sure your intercooler isn't leaking. Couple vids around here that show you how to check that quick.
Also if you don't want to dink around with checking the supercharger slip yourself see if your local shop will squeeze you in quick.

Thanks you all for the great info, I think I panicked to soon. Rode last night with known fresh fuel and the ski ran great!! Going to avoid the fuel pump on the river.

Maybe a dumb question but did you put it in sport mode?
