carrillo rods torque question
my local machine shop doesn't have a stretch gauge, what are you guys getting for your final value on the bolts? These are the carrillo bolts. I know they say not to exceed 30 foot pounds.

So I bought the bolt stretch tool. Just for future reference if anyone needs this info, my bolts had to be torqued to 45lbs before they got the appropriate stretch value. The data sheet shows a max of 32lbs which is impossible to get the proper stretch. My Carrillo rods have the CARR SM8 bolts, not ARP.
