    Torx Racing "Stage 1" ??

    http://www.torxracing.com/Sea-Doo-GT...stg1-260-5.htm

For my 2013 GTX Limited iS 260. Yay or nay? Better options to remove limiters?

yeah anything other than torx. Don't rely on that company for a single thing. They call it stage 1 because after you install it stage 2 is removing the chunked pistons from your engine.

Be careful..Torx Racing is no longer in buisness......Besides,It would be better to go with a V-tech system as you can change/modify your tunes as wanted/needed...And if need be you can always put it back to stock, or change tunes as mods change all at no extra cost

I just called and the guy told me "You will be running low 70's once I flash your ECU". The conversation definitely didn't feel right.

There wont be any other mods to this ski since it is a suspension ski and you cant even get your damn hands in the hull. I was just looking for the cheapest and most reliable option to remove the limiters. The V-tech is overkill for what I really need.

Thanks for the advice. I guess I will ride it with limiters.

Chris, V-tech is about the only solution for what you need. Running an SCOM will just remove the speed limiter. You will still have a very low 8040 RPM limiter and boost limiter intact. Do some research here on the forum. People that tried an SCOM regretted it and once they reflashed with V-Tech they never looked back. Makes a huge difference on these skis!

Yeah, I dug around a bit and everything funneled back to V-tech but I was in hopes I could remove the limiters for $399 versus $839, especially considering I will not be adding any other mods. Seems like the V-tech would be more beneficial for someone who wants flexibility in tuning while modding.
