1997 Polaris slt 780 MFD failure - can I use a mfd from a sl even though it has trim?
I just purchased a 97 slt with a mfd full of water. I had a old mfd off a 95 sl 750 which has trim.
They are both 8 pins so I plugged it in and it seems to work but the trim on the mfd is displaying and it should not since my slt has no trim. Is there a way to calibrate the mfd so it does not show trim?
Thanks in advance...Last edited by K447; 06-21-2015 at 10:12 PM.

You can ignore the trim position indicator if the watercraft the MFD is installed in does not actually have a trim motor.
No harm will occur.
