    Seadoo Superchager question

How many are running a Billet Clutch Gear on the Seadoo Supercharger? If you get in the 150 inch lbs of slip W/ Riva Washers & Springs... the Stk Seadoo Cast Clutch Gear will wear at a high rate. Just looking to see if anyone has found this also.

Hmmmm.I run my 2 rude at 195 inch lbs ,McMaster carr washers and OEm clutches and havent worn out an OEm gear..Nor have any of the other Scers i have set up either.....I did burn through the R&D gear in less than 10 hours though..Come to think of it..I had Riva clutch washers in wth that one too..Maybe the Rivas are the issue and not the gear.....went back to stock gear and clutches and have been good ever since...

Who is setting up your SC's? 150 in/lbs is nothing.

Not sure what stock is, I would think it is atleast 10-11 ft/lbs. I know that when I pulled both of my stockers after about 20 hrs, we set them to around 13 ft/lbs, but I am turning more rpm's than stock.

Like I said, 150 inch/lbs is nothing. I know the correct way is to set by in/lbs, but it is easier for me to think in terms of ft/lbs. That way if your sc is supposed to make 14 lbs of boost, then you need to set up for around 15lbs.
