Yamaha Cams
Hi all! Been away for some time. Sold my GTX a few years ago, but caught the bug and picked up a 2006 FXHO that the previous owner trashed
I have to replace the head and a piston, been sourcing parts. Seems I have a bent intake cam...binding up pretty bad.
Still trying to locate one......While searching, I saw some cams for R1 bike engines. They look the same.
So thinking about it, I was wondering if anyone has sourced an intake cam from R! to use in MR1?
Anybody know if the journals are same size, as well as the rest of the physical dimensions? Most importantly, anybody know what the grind is on one? Duration/lift?
Just wondering......Thanks Drew
