Jet pump and adapter leg HELP

I am trying to install my jet pump on my 2011 RXTX after pump shoe change. I had to change one of the legs cause it broke. Now I am putting everything back together and I cannot get the bolts to line up no matter what I try. I really need some expert help please

Did you put the leg back in the exact same spot? The is a key way on the jet pump to make minute adjustments of the jet pump leg. Get your self a workshop manual and you will see what I mean.

Yes I am doing that and still having problems. It does not seem like the pump is going in all the way cause the leg are not align with the bolt holes on the plate

Your saying that the leg is stopping you pushing the pump all the way forward.?? Check to make sure the seal hasn't pinched stopping it going forward.

According manual you need a spare rideplate with pumpshoe attached to set up the pump & adapters..........
    Pretty retarded !!

If you changed the pumpshoe you had the rideplate of as well? Because the two are connected.

You're sure the driveshaft is not stopping you from pushing the pump more in? Or too much grease in the impeller?

I saw that on the manual also. No thr leg is not stopping the pump from going on the shoe. And the pump is pushed all the way in cause when I look thru the grate its flush on the shoe , it just that I need to go about an 1/8 of an inch more forward for the bolts to actually line up with the threads

It shouldn't be that hard to line up 4 bolts. I just dont feel like i should have to fight with the bolts to line up.

You're using original pump seal or R&D ?

The R&D is a little more a fight to get the pump in and align the adapterholes above the rideplate holes !
