repair broken panel on driver's side hatch - Speedster 150

The large plastic panel on my driver's side hatch is cracked. This panel doesn't to have it's own part number and is part of the complete assembly $$$. Before I try anything, does anyone here have advice on popping this panel off, or how to obtain a replacement?

Interesting. I just noticed that ours broke over the winter too... I am considering making a Fiberglas replacement or putting a vinyl wrap over top of it in its cracked state.

I'm wondering if the hatch would look ok with it removed.
