Help removing front compartment cover clips
I need to get to my steering nut on my 2014 vxr to loosen it and I can't figure out how to get the clips off on the white cover in the front storage. There seems to be a center white plastic pin that needs to be pushed out but I can't figure out how to pull it. Any advice you have to offer would be greatly appreciated.

90" awl hook. You can buy at Lowes, Home Depot or most any auto parts store.

If they are the same pins that I have on my 2015 FZS then just push the center pin in and they will then come out. When reinstalling them you pull the pin out. That's easy to do once they're out.

Just don't push the center pin in too far or it will pop out and land somewhere in the engine compartment. Been there done that. No big deal if it does, just drove me crazy cause I knew it was there and couldn't find it.

Thanks for the advice. I will try that. I am trying to get to the steering neck to loosen it. The steering is tight on the ski.
