2014 310LX Problems -HELP
Hey guys, new to the forum here so i'm sorry if i'm breaking any newbie protocol. I purchased my first ever jet ski last week. a brand new(left over) 2014 310LX with the stereo and all that. I don't have much jet ski experience but I pick up on motorsport stuff quick. OK to my issue rode it sat for the first time, it was amazing, I couldn't believe how fast it was compared to other skis I had been on. on sunday I had two passengers with me and we had a low speed rollover. I flipped the ski back over, flipping it clockwise based on looking at it from the back of the ski. started back up fine, however when I nailed the throttle it cut out, just like you completely let out and stabbed it again. if was only right at take off, and only did it if you went full throttle, from what I could tell, I didn't ride it much after that, but it seemed to be fine on top end. I ran right up to 65 in very rough water with no problem. almost acted like traction control or hitting a rev limiter or something. I took it back to the dealer and they're giving me a bunch of crap saying it won't be covered under warranty. i haven't even ran my second tank through the thing yet! was hoping you guys could give me some insight on what it could be...cause they told me they didn't know much about kawasakies. Thanks in advance...I cant wait to get back out on the thing...its a rush

are you saying it continually cuts out after nailing it on a standing start? or it just did this once?

yes i tried it several times, same thing, at first it cut out twice before openin up then after a few min of ride it came down to just once, i rode it around easy for a while and then let it sit for about an hour and tried it again, still cut out once, roughly a second or two after going wot from standing start. only cuts out from maybe a half a sec to a sec, then it takes back off

didn't(on edit) do it before capsizing. literally the rpms go wide open, come all the way back, then back wide open

My 300 13.5 does this too so either it is the traction control or a slipping belt

Yeah on a race start but the 11s & 12s don't do it and it is not the pump unhooking it is a full fuel cut it does not feel like a slip as that feels more jerky this is like the OP said once or twice then is ok and only on WOT launches, flat or ruff water same deal
I really need to get a reflash done

Try leaning over the front standing and trim right down.
