    2002 Virage 700cc domestic help

Trying to remove the engine from my 2002 700cc single carbed Virage. Been doing tons of research but can't find out how to remove the exhaust manifold to get the red exhaust pipe out! I can't pull the motor with it in, but can't get it out without removing the manifold. I removed the 4 bolts that hold the manifold to the cylinders, used a rubber mallet...and nothing! Help please!

Should be 3 bolts per cylinder, not 2.

Where is the 3rd bolt? I have used a mirror and can not find any more than 4 on the manifold. Two on each side. One up top and one below. I have the user manual and it shows two on each side plus a hanger bolt coming off the manifold onto the exhaust which I have removed!

2 #13 bolts and 4 #14 bolts HOLD THE MANIFOLD TO THE CYLINDERS. Think upside down triangle. 2 on top and 1 on bottom in center for each cylinder. Total of 6 for a twin. Then are a total of 6 holding the pipe to the manifold/engine. PERIOD!!!

The six same size holes in this pic hold the manifold to the cylinders. The 4 bigger holes are cooling holes for water transfer. Just can't make it any more clear than that. Crazy OUT.......BINGO DINGO!!!!
