    Stepping up from Riva Stage 1 on 2008 RXT-X . . . ?

So I got my buddies stock 2008 RXT-X finished and tested over the weekend and he ran [email protected],000 rpms at 800' elevation. He's ready to step up. I was thinking 137+4, 48lb injectors and FPR. Your thoughts? He would like to run 76-77mph.

the 137+4 is a night and day difference over the x charger, imo one of the best things you can do to these skiis

71.1 sounds about right. Mine did 72+ @ 8150 with a Riva STG1 kit . Those hulls are harder than the S3 to get speed. In addition to the 137x4, rrfpr and fpr, I would suggest an ECU flash or replacement to get the rpm's up. The true benefits of most of the bigger SD chargers are not really seen until you spin the crap out of them. The exception to that are the old Seadoo Centre wheels. They seem to make really good power at lower rpms, but I don't see them for sale anymore in Jerry's store.

Would it put him in the 76-77 range like I suspect?

I think it will, if he turns it around 8500-8600 or more rpm.

You are missing a couple mph. With the Riva Stage 1 kit....you should see 73mph on calm water. What size ring do you have in the nozzle? Did you put a new wear ring in when you changed the impeller?

New wear ring, 83mm nozzle ring. Dont forget we are at 800' elevation and water temp was about 85 degrees.

How much $$$ does he want to spend? The 137+4 and supporting mods should push that TX to 80.

Okay, that makes sense. Time to start spending money.
