42lb fuel injector question

swapping my rxp to 42 injectors,is this correct or is there supposed to be extension pieces on end like factory? and i put one in the fuel rail and it doesnt feel very tight,its loose and i can spin it,should i swap the o rings off my factory ones?

I thought the same when I did mine 2 years ago. Even questioned the length. Installed them problem free since then.

The o-rings are the same on both injectors, and its normal for the injector to be able to spin when it is installed, just make sure to lube up those o-rings when installing them, i like to use some silicone grease, it works great

the extended tip (bosch only) is the best type to use but the standard tip will work fine
