    Deburring Impeller Edge

Any cause for concern on this one? Bought this impeller second hand - had 2 runs on it since mid May and was "New" condition. Looks like it may have gotten friendly with the wear ring a little bit. It actually looks worse in the below image than it is. Is this something that needs to be cleaned up by a prop shop or would some 400 grit emory and wet sanding be adequate?

Yeah you can clean that up. I have used just a few strokes with a fine file. The emery paper should work too. Just don't slice yourself using sandpaper on it. That edge can be sharp.

No need for a prop shop, but check your clearance when you install back in the pump..

Measured the impeller with a caliper to get a rough estimate, it's 147.60mm which means there should be .2mm or .008" gap on the pump if it's 148mm. Do you know if the pump measures exactly 148mm ID and what the clearance is supposed to be? 2015 STX15f.
