    Impeller Upgrade (RXT 260)

    Have to replace the jet pump wear ring on my 2014 RXT 260 (w/ 125 hours). I'd also like to move a bit faster while minimizing additional strain put on the machine. So I figure I might as well upgrade the impeller when I replace the wear ring. Was hoping for some advice/suggestions/brands about doing so and if I need to upgrade any other parts as a result of upgrading the impeller.

    I'd greatly appreciate the input!

    I have a 2010 RXT-X 260 and it is bone stock minus the 15/20 Solas Impeller I put on along with a new wear ring. With my stock impeller my dash was showing 67mph. With the solas 15/20, I was seeing 70mph for a few seconds until the GPS limiter brought it back down and it would hold at 68mph. 70mph on my dash was 68.75mph on handheld GPS. Until you get a SCOM or a reflash, you will always have the GPS speed limiter that will slow you back down. I plan to get a reflash in the near future.

    Edit: I should also mention that with the 15/20 Solas Impeller, my RPM dropped to 7,840 at WOT. If I were going to do an impeller only and not plan to reflash, I would probably repitch to 15/18 or 15/19 to get my RPM back up a little.

    15/20 solas is too much prop for that ski, I just tried it, it dropped my rpm's to 7,750 fully loaded with fuel and gear to 7,850 with 1/4 tank of fuel. I am going to a 15/19

    I would go with a 15/20, 4" air intake, catch can and the Riva Intake Manifold upgrade... I would also plan a VTech soon... Because you'll want to go faster and.... faster.... You will always be stuck with all the limiters the ECU have...

    I am a little lost here with the 15/20 recommendation's, I just installed the 15/20r in my 2012tx and it fell on its face pretty much, it dropped 300 rpms @ wot, would a 15/19 really spin 8,040 with his mods?
