    Sucking salt water

After riding for a long time with a leaking intercooler, and ingesting a lot of salt water my motor is very low on compression 80psi. What in the motor gets damaged from the saltwater causing Low compression

Guess it depends how long it ran that way or how long it sat.

Generally speaking, its piston rings and in some cases valve seats...especially if lots of salt water pooled on the backside of the intake valves. You need to have a leak-down test performed by someone that really understands how to properly do it (to determing if its valve or rings).
