Reeds - Fiberglass or Carbon Fiber??

What do you guys recommend? Fiberglass or carbon fiber?
I'm looking to buy some VForce3's for the MSX build, and I can get both styles, but not sure what the true differences are in a reed application.

On a DI I would just do fiberglass. The reeds from the Fusion sled are a great choice.

Both are the same price. I can actually get the carbon fiber ones easier. What are the pros and cons of each?

I like carbon fiber for throttle response & fiberglass for durability.

Carbon fiber for performance & durability I would say. I've seen a lot of cracked/chipped/frayed tips on fiberglass reeds but not on carbon fiber. The only downside I can think of for carbon fiber is when/if they do let go they wreak more havoc on the engine.

Well I have a set heading my way. I'm not sure what they are petal wise, but they should fit my engine. Whatever it is, CF or fiberglass, i'll order another set so I have 3.

I bought them from a 2008 Polaris IQR 600. According to the VForce folks, it's what I need to fit my ski with NO modifications to the manifold like the Fusion OEM ones need. It was a PITA cutting my manifold on the Virage, and I didn't want to do that again. I'll post up the fitment results when they come in. Oh BTW - the IQR 440/600 comes from the factory with VF3 reeds.
