Who here has wrapped their ski?

Unfortunately you can't pick and choose what color you buy a ski these days, and RED just doesn't do it for me on my 2015 FZR. I had it in my budget to wrap. The red bits only. The rest stays how it came, and naked no decals.

I'm torn between 3M 1080 S10 satin white:


Or 3M Matte Charcoal Metallic M211:

No quotes yet, trying to decide what color first. I was also holding back. My favorite is the SP10 satin pearl white

I own a wrap shop here in Dalton, Ga.

Here is a vintage Waverunner I wrapped in 3M IJ-180CV3. The right installation tools are critical.............and expensive. Results are all in the prep. Don't just buy the vinyl and jump in or you will waste your cash. Study, study, study. Have to remove the mats as well.

I will not be wrapping myself. Eons ago I professionally raced WKA gokarts and due to "rubbing is racing" I owned my own vinyl plotter to keep it fresh. I know what it takes to wrap and I just don't have it.

Like I said, plan on removing all the traction mats (and replacing them as well). That, alone is a B!T@H

I think replacing the red with M211 matte charcoal metallic is the winner. No other ski has that color it will stand out. Time to get quotes!



Plus look good behind my car. That red DOES NOT match.
