    Strange screw in engine compartment

Hello everyone, I found this small screw today in the bottom of the engine compartment. Any thoughts on what it goes to? I've looked everywhere, and I can't see where a screw is missing.

    2001 Sea Doo GTI

    Thanks,

    Zepp

That is a lower unit gear case fill/vent drain plug screw, spare parts from an outboard or outdrive.

Thanks Waterluvr, It doesn't even belong on this GTI?

No Sir, but that will work just fine on most Johnson/Evinrude outboard and Mercury/Mercruiser gear cases.

I'll just bet your not the first to have one wind up hiding in a ski bilge, those are probably the #1 most often used replacement part in the entire marine service industry
