What to do what to do!

I'm thinking its time to upgrade my 2009 fzr to a 2015, thing is my dealer has no clue, it's £13000 out the door, new trailer, 2 year warranty and other little bits, he says he might throw in a cover if I order one..... Thanks! I'm spending a lot of cash! Also keeps telling me it has ride system which I know 100% the fz range doesn't! Also not a 100% on the red colour.

So do I keep my cash and wait for 2016 to be announced and order one of those or just get a 2014 in the black?

I wouldnt normally be so fussy but 13k is a lot for a toy ha.

why don't Yamaha do a range of colours across the range!! Grrrrrr

Ya no kiddin, I just completed a yamaha survey on what color schemes I prefered. If the survey was for the new 2016 models we might have some interesting designs coming out.

The 2015's hull is black just the top is red. No trim is red and nothing else is color matched, it would be very easy to vinyl wrap it a different color. In a month or two I'll have my 2015 FZR's red wrapped in 3M 1080 M211 Matte Charcoal Metallic.

As far as the factory stickers go that are red how to get around that? OEM graphics are ugly! Naked is the only way to ride

I'd say wait. It's a lot money for a ski that your not 100% in love with. See what the '16's have to offer. In the mean time, ride the hell out of your '09. It's still a damn good ski.

Another option: you could upgrade your 2009 with a new wheel, IC, and ECU. Should give you solid performance.

As far as we know the 2016's will be green and pink, so I wouldn't wait.

I bought the FZS because I wanted blue. Wanted the FZR, but despise red.
