05 gp1300
I recently baught a 05 gp1300. great comp, runs good. however I went and purchased the dplate chip oil block off and fuel controller. I put everything on but oil blockoff.ski ran fine but since I got blokeoff I figured I could do it before something happened.so I installed it,while I was there I noticed I had a lot of play in my throttle cable so I adjusted.put it all back together went to start it just turned over,no spark so I read and put some slack back in the cable spark came back started right up.went to water test it,the ski ran great I idled for maybe two minutes went to get on the throttle and it died.would not refire.put it on the traler turned it over for like a minute or so and it fired up. does it sound to anyone that it has too much fuel at idle?i can turn it down by .5 incrimints.it was set at 2.5. can someone help please.all info will be greatly appreciated.

well in your case get on ejk website and start with their base tune. these are a bitch to get right.
one more thing, you do not need a efi controller unless you are running more compression, just to let you know.
