Throttle body sticking Fault code P1614

I have pulled my throttle body off my 2014 px as my ski was throwing fault code P1614,
The butterfly in the Tb is sticking, is it possible to fix it or should I just buy a new one. I have tried wd40 and moving it by hand back and forth, it did free it up a little but still not fully operational.

I had a similar issue and was replaced under warranty. They are $800USD!!

A local friend too his apart and cleaned it up and still works. If you are not under warranty, I would take the risk and open her up.

The first time mine was replaced, the IC leaked and BRP will generally replace the IC and TB when that happens. Second time there was no leak yet TB still failed

FYI: The latest TB replacement had a different (new) part number so hopefully its an updated design

I had the same problem also. I installed a new one. Tried taking the old one apart so i could fix it but couldnt figure out how to take the shaft out. If you take it apart and figure it out let me know.

My Riva Intercooler was the cause of it, Riva replaced the Intercooler but at the time the tb was fine and only just decided to shit itself now when I'm selling the ski.
I have pulled the tb apart but not able to get to the shaft, I'm might take it to a Seadoo tech to see if they can fix it.
