    Help please she is sinking

She is sinking..was on the water today 2 time with my used 95 gts 587..it started running like crap so I pulled the seat and seen water pouring out of one of the welded plugs on the tuned pipe..then seen water coming out from behind the pto flywheel..looks like the plugs on the tunes pipe can be rewelded is this correct.as for the water shooting out behind the fly wheel I don't have a clue is this just a seal gone bad or something else. Any advise would be great guys..

next time let it sink.....remember.."money pit"..she's 20 years old.

in all seriousness, a good aluminum welder can fix the pipe, The engine may have froze and the base gaskets pushed off place, which results in leaks. you have to identify the actual source of the leak for better advice. a bright light and mirror are helpful tools.

I can turn the pto by hand with some resistance..in panic and seeing water.. I dident take into consideration that the water from the pto was probably water sling around from being in the haul.. At least I hope

I mean subjected to freezing weather (not winterized)

it will be nearly impossible to fix both leaks at once as the pipe sprays a whole lot of water when compromised.

do the pipe first, then the other leak will be easier to find.

Say the base gaskets were pushed off place like you said.. Is that something a shade tree mechanic could tackle or better left to the pros..
