Did you use plasti-gauge to actually verify the clearances?

Or crank is bent. Or the journals are distorted and not allowing crank to spin properly.

You need to check clearances. If you do not have the toola take it to someone who does. Cutting corners and just slapping things together will end up costing more money and time down the road.

You need to get the numbers off your block, crank and rods. Look up in the shop manual and it will tell you which color bearings to go with.
Once you get those bearings still use plasti gauge to check clearances.

Main bearing clearance is .0009- .0021. The black bearings are the smallest.
