04 GTX performance and opinions?

I am looking at buying a 2004 Seadoo GTX, but I don't know very much about there performance or there downsides... Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

those old 185 skis run 7600 rpm and do about 63mph
solid old skis but a 10y+ old ski will need some more maintenance
my old gtx has had everything replaced

A lot of people are negative towards the 185 motors when compared to the 215. They dont have forged pistons like the 215's, or rev to 8100. They dont make quite as much boost and they have the smaller diameter driveshaft/prop/pump combo. But mine has been a reliable machine that has taken quite a beating.

Only thing I would do is replace the valves and go through supercharger same internals as the 155 and 130 and rebuild super charger with oe kit the only difference in chargers is the gear if u buy it do this asap before u ride it or u r looking at rebuilding motor if charger fails or valves break they had two piece valves great ski as long as u do proper maintance
