Water spout on rear?
I didn't know what the water spout area is called on the fzs the thing that shoots water up your back while riding. I had it cut off and I think it had piece with a clamp blocking it off but it's gone now, does something belong there or does it just shoot at the hull.

There are numerous ways people block it off. In my view the simplest is an automotive rubber brake cap and a SS clamp. Others have used things like a nylon bolt screwed into it and some make a permanent block with epoxy.
I would not run with it just uncapped or unhooked. It would basically be power washing the area just above the port every time you get on the throttle.

Yea I didn't think that was a good idea. Got it back from the dealer with no cap and it looked odd to me. I will do the easy brake cap and clamp. Thanks.

What is even easier ... just squeeze some JB Weld into the tube off nozzle. Done never to concern yourself with it again.

If you wanna get fancy about it, what I did to my FZR... I just loosened the clamp as big as it would go, took the hose off the gay spray nozzle and tightened it to the side of it. Takes 30 seconds to do and another 30 seconds to re attach of needed.

For what it's worth I run my GPR with the hose removed not blocked off. No problems but I don't have a nano hull and I don't ride through sandy shallow water. It's been that way for over 30hrs.

Cut hose in middle and clamp in 1/4 turn pex valve. Been like that since 10hrs. Now at 230hrs and have yet to turn it on once lol.

Yep, a simple shutoff valve from the local hardware store or irrigation supply store will do the job.
Mines been fitted for 5 years now, and works a treat
