I have the IC strainer covered, but that's the first time I've seen one utilized for the engine feed line too.

Does anyone think it's cheap insurance to run a strainer for the engine feed, or just another potential failure point? Most here just use clamping pliers when towing. But props for trying to keep everything clean n safe.

Where is this crap coming from?? Three tow valve threads in a few months?!?!?! what the hell is going on in the PWC land??

A tow valve on your yami is a Terrible terrible Idea, especially since your ski doesn't need it. As we learned from some other ding dong that did this, its also Great way to kill your warranty too.

Very bad idea to use a "tow valve". I would only suggest using a strainer/filter on the intercooler line only. If you want to close off the water feed line when you tow, Sea Doo makes a pincher tool that works well. (part#529032500) I would go this route instead of a tow valve........if you have the need to close a water feed line.

why would a tow valve kill the warranty and a strainer wont.?

that a big shut off valve so there is no restriction in the line at all.

Tow valves aren't needed for Yamalogs!!!!

As I previously stated. I ran out of gas at 70 mph and got towed at like 45-50 mph and I then took off the exhaust pipe off the water box and it was bone dry!!!!

    It is not necessary, Julio...
