Pump question
So I broke an adapter on my pump and when I took the pump out I saw the housing cracked. Is this something I should replace or it does not affect performance
Also I guess the reason the adapter broke cause there were 2 bolts missing from the pump causing pressure on the other adapter to break. Well 2 bolts were stripped from my ride plate thats why the bolts came out. Would it be safe to tap the ride plate to a size up?

I take it you have a GTX iS model of some kind with the unconventional pump mounting.
I would not tap the ride plate to the next size up bolt. I would install helicoils and stay with standard size bolts into the ride plate. That broken plastic will affect the seal of the new pump when fitted and needs to be replaced. It will cause the pump to suck air under heavy acceleration and cause cavitation

Time to convert over the newer style pump shoe. I did it in my 2010 Rxtx and haven't looked back since.

I appreciate you guys feed back. Its a 2011 RXT-X 260. I spoke to a friend and he told me the same thing. Scott is the conversion only changing the pump support? Or is there more in the conversion?

Its a big difference in price also. The 2011 support is 98.00 and the 2012 support for RXT-X is 40.99. Just wondering what all is required for me to use the new style pump support
