    Bad Canyon Lake trip

Just a heads up, I put in at ramp 6 today. Both mine and my wife's ski sucked up sticks at the ramp. We didn't make it 20 feet away before we lost power. It took 2 hours to get it all out, I'm just hoping the wear rings are still good.

Maybe we just have shit luck though, two other skis put in around the same time. They gave it a lot of gas and sped away with no apparent problems. There was a lot of debris there, mostly small stuff on top with a few large branches floating around. I guess there was plenty more under the water. The pic shows what came out of the two.

We took our 2 Seadoo Sparks out yesterday on ramp 6. There was a lot of debris on the first section on the launch area. Once we got into the middle of the lake it was clear with just a few sticks and tree limbs here and there. First time owning jet skis, so we took a chance with riding through the debris fields. a lot of small wood pieces. I figured it couldn't of been good for the skis, but we took a chance. the Sparks never had a problem with it! Maybe we were just lucky?!

There were several jet skiers out there, I guess we just got screwed. We didn't even give it any gas, just enough to put it in "gear" or forward to get out of it. I'm pretty certain I saw you parked somewhere along the road. We always notice Sparks. We initially tried to buy one last year but couldn't find one in stock so we got GTIs. I saw two yellow sparks on a trailer and told my wife to look lol.
